When the Omega JD-DJS showed that there is only one year before the opening sitting of Vancouver Winter Olympics, Omega honorly released two types of watch of limited edition to commemorate this important moment.
There are two types of 41 mm and 36.25 mm diameter of Omega Seamaster Vancouver 2010 to choose . Each type only has 2010 to sell and the watches are deployed with Omega 2005 coaxial movement.
This type of watch uses the dial plate with white paint and the watch bezel with the material of red alumina, the color contrast is very bright, and the design of the appearance strikes the eyes and reminds people of the proud red maple leaf and the pure white background on the national flag of Canada.The white color on the dial plate also represents the ice and snow in the races of Vancouver Winter Olympics.
The relief sculpture on the back of the watch has the emblem of Vancouver Winter Olympics of 2010, The main part figure name of the emblem is Ilanaak. It presents the human shapes stacked by the stones, and Canadian native ancient worthies once used this to express their greet to the people who went past their land. The name Ilanaak comes from the word “friend” of Inuit of Canada.
